SELECT ONE:

• Large sample (n > 100)
• Small to medium sample from a normal distribution
• Small to medium sample from a non-normal distribution

 

You can use the Shapiro-Wilk W test to gather evidence about the "non-normality" of a sample; this is listed under the parametric methods section of the analysis menu.
