This section provides methods for the description and comparison of survival experience in different groups.

Note that StatsDirect survival analysis functions do not use separate variables for different groups. The groups are indicated by a group identifier variable that contains group numbers or text strings, i.e. for 2 groups you might have a column of 1 and 2. Each value in the group identifier column identifies its row with respect to time, death and censorship data in adjacent columns.
